

Luis Fernando de Orléans y Borbón, Infante of Spain since birth until his cousin King Alfonso XIII revoked his privileges and title of Infante in 1924, was the son of the Infanta Eulalia, daughter of Queen Isabel II and Infante Antonio, Duke of Galliera and grandson of Louis Philippe I. Luis Fernando was born in the Royal Palace in 1888 and died in Paris in 1945. He led a notorious life and was involved in drug and even a murder scandals, married a wealthy widow several years his elder against her family’s wishes and died in disgrace.
